Experience the most famous opera „The Magic Flute“ written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in an extraordinary and new way. The Wallpavillon at Dresden Zwinger Palace will be transformed into an opera stage. The soloists and musicians of the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER will present „The Magic Flute“ arranged as a chamber opera. You will meet Papageno, the Queen of the Night and of course Pamina and Tamino, but you will also learn things about this opera, which will absolutely surprise you. This afternoon promises to be a very special one.

Our gala concerts are also available as "Concert & Dinner". Discounted tickets for children up to 12 years and severely disabled persons from GdB 80% and their accompanying person are available on +49 (0) 351 - 41 88 62 30. The concert hall Wallpavillon is located on the upper level of the Dresden Zwinger Palace. Please note that both - the concert hall and the toilets - has no disability access  

 

The first three rows are reserved for guest in our VIP category. In this category there is included a voucher for a glass of sparkling wine or a drink of your choice in the intermission. Our gala concerts last about 90 minutes including a little break. The concert hall will opened  30min. before the performance start.
