One of the most popular masterpieces of Antonio Vivaldi is "The Four Seasons". It is a group of four violin concerts, each of which gives a musical expression to a season of the year. This masterpiece provides one oft he earliest examples of what was later called program music. Before the famous four violin concerts by Antonio Vivaldi will be presented in the second part of the concert you listen to masterworks of chamber classical music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven and others. After the break you almost listen to the young birds in spring, the thunderstorms in summer, the drinking songs in autuum and the snow flakes in winter. You will be enchanted by the soloists of the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER.
