festive christmas concert -- gala concert at Wallpavillon, Dresden Zwinger Palace

Are you spending the Christmas holidays with your family? At our festive Christmas concerts, the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER will enchant you and your family with, for example, Schubert's "Ave Maria" and Bach's "Air". And as with our other gala concerts, there will also be one or two lively waltzes. Enjoy the most beautiful classics in the baroque ambience of the Dresden Zwinger.

We have free choice of seats in the concert hall. All seats in the hall will be occupied without a gap. We look forward to your mutual consideration and your friendly understanding. The concert hall and the toilets are not barrier-free, there are steps to climb. Ever since the kings celebrated in the Dresden Residence, music has played a major role in the Zwinger, both outside and in the many sonorous halls. The best orchestras in the world have been guest here for centuries, the most famous musicians have been guests and they have always enjoyed the elegant ambience and the great acoustics. The DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER is a top-class ensemble that came together to play classical gala concerts in the Zwinger. They promise pleasant entertainment with the highest standards for the afternoon. The kennel doesn't allow anything else. Welcome!

The concert hall in the Wallpavillon is located on the upper level of the Dresden Zwinger Palace and can be reached from the Theaterplatz (to the right of the Restaurant Alte Meister) or via steps from the Zwingerinnenhof. Please note that the toilets are outside the concert hall and are not barrier-free. Our concerts last about 90 minutes including a short break. Admission to the concert hall is 30-60 minutes before the start of the performance. The Christmas concert takes place indoors.
